In the region of Tolima, in the municipality of Planadas, Nubia Yaneth Paz has her coffee farm; Los Naranjos. She was born into coffee and learned about it from a very young age. Later in life, she wanted to know more, and so she learned about specialty coffee through cupping and physical analysis. With this knowledge in hand, she made the change to focusing on producing specialty coffee on the farm, working hand in hand with her husband. It is a family endeavor, in which each one plays a pivotal role. Nubia handles the processes - drying, depulping and fermentation- while her husband, Dagoberto, oversees the general administration of the farm.
The farm is a very special place for her given the beautiful views and sights, climate and water sources nearby. At the same time, she says that the their goal and biggest challenge is taking care of the environment and producing high quality coffee. Therefore, the technical assistance by PECA has proven paramount to keep improving the quality. Nubia also wants for her coffee to travel the world and be recognized. Shipping
We roast on Monday and pack orders on Tuesday. Orders are shipped any day if stock is available. If your order is placed after 7am Monday we cannot guarantee that we will have stock available. In this case, the coffee will be sent the following Tuesday.
Local Pickup
Instructions will be sent via email when you place your order. You will be notified when your coffee is ready for pickup, it is available to pickup 24/7. Please ensure you double check your name and order number before taking your order from the shelf.
